Another LOC Violation from India: Pakistan’s Efforts for Peace building

0

Pakistan has always advocated the peacebuilding with the neighboring countries. The ideology of peace is just not the ideology for Pakistan and we have always proved that with our collective sacrifices for it.

LOC VIOLATION

On December 1, Indian forces violated the peace and opened fire on LOC in the Rukh Chakri and Rawalakot sectors. India fired motor rounds on Pakistani post injuring two officers of the Pakistani army. The Pakistan Army returned fire.

Later DG ISPR informed that after the retaliatory fire, the Indian side stopped its fire.

FEBRUARY 27

This is not the first time that India has violated the LOC ceasefire. The Pakistani army has killed more than 60 Indian soldiers because of Indian ceasefire unprovoked LOC violations since February this year.

On February 27, Pakistan shot down two Indian Aircraft and captured a pilot amid operations. tensions have arisen since then.

Later the captured Indian Pilot was released as a gesture of Peace building but India did not take well. the pilot was treated with good hospitality and was returned unharmed.

INDIA REVOKED IOJK’s SPECIAL STATUS

The tension spiked sharply after India revoked occupied Kashmir’s status as a disputed territory on August 5. Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken this agenda of peacebuilding and called out the Modi’s hatred towards Pakistan on the platform of the United Nations.

Moreover, He also called out the Modi’s election campaign that was entirely based on the Anti-Pakistan agenda.

Even so, India did not accept that it has revoked the IOJK’s status and has violated the 11 UN resolutions agreeing the IOJK is a disputed territory.

Later Pakistan Initiated another peace building gesture that was the opening of Kartarpur Corridor that allowed the Sikh pilgrims of India to visit their holy place freely.

Despite this, India on the same day of the opening ceremony announced the verdict of the decades-old case of Babri Masjid. The final verdict was the prime evidence of the extreme mindset of the Indian Government and its judiciary.

India has never initiated a peace gesture and yet is always on the losing side. Pakistan is continuously advocating the need for peacebuilding and will continue to do so.
